The agriturismo Borgo Floreani, is situated right in the heart of Friuli and therefore is the ideal starting point to discover an unspoilt region, rich in Art, History, natural beauty, still untouched by mass tourism. It is also a border region, place of transit for different population which have left traces of their cultures in the archaeological sites, historical manufacts, cuisine and language.

The farm is set in a well preserved landscape formed by villages, country churches, villas and medieval castles which reflects the respectful and harmonious dialogue woven – over centuries – by man and nature.

Alternatively, the “Strada dei castelli e del prosciutto” leads through an enchanting countryside to San Daniele, village that gives the name to our best prosciutto, to be enjoyed accompanied with the local wine.

For more natural beauty, food and wine stops, try: the Collio area with its vast renowned vineyards, the Carnia Mountains for its cheeses and the Valli del Natisone for dishes with a Slovenian twist.
